Made from natural and dyed (red) wicker, featuring a wooden base. Finished with satin varnish, which enhances the colour, and makes it easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

An ideal basket for a young child - once they eat the Easter eggs, they will have the basket for years of play activity. This size of basket was traditionally made as a Berry collecting basket, so replace those plastic buckets and bags with a sustainable reusable basket. Packed in a cardboard box.

My studio is located in Lockwood, Victoria, Australia. For most of my working life I have been a craftsman, making ceramics. Of recent times I have taken up the art of basket weaving. I draw on traditional designs & techniques and incorporate my own ideas into the work. My aim is to make sturdy, durable, unique & colourful baskets that are a pleasure to use and to look at.
