Handwoven rectangular basket. Dimensions: height 9 cm, length 28 cm, depth 21 cm. Made from natural and dyed wicker, featuring a wooden base. I dye the cane myself - in this case, brown, blue and yellow. The basket is finished with satin varnish, which enhances the colour, and makes it easily cleaned with a damp cloth.

My studio is located in Lockwood, Victoria, Australia. For most of my working life I have been a craftsman, making ceramics. Of recent times I have taken up the art of basket weaving. I draw on traditional designs & techniques and incorporate my own ideas into the work. My aim is to make sturdy, durable, unique & colourful baskets that are a pleasure to use and to look at.
