Nixie was stitched together in a sunlit studio. Her name comes from German folklore and means playfulness, and connection to nature.
Unlike her quieter cousins, Nixie is bold and full of mischief. She loves to climb the tallest hoop pine trees in the Ecovillage, daring herself to reach the highest branches where the view stretches all the way to the Currumbin Alley. From up there, she waves to the kookaburras and laughs with the wind, her stitched heart racing with joy.
But Nixie has a softer side too. Each afternoon, she settles down with a cup of Earl Grey tea, savouring the bergamot fragrance as the platypuses splash in the creek nearby. It’s her way of balancing adventure with calm — a reminder that even the most daring spirits need a moment of quiet delight.
Nixie is extroverted, playful, and endlessly curious She brings energy wherever she goes, scattering joy like confetti and reminding us that life is best lived boldly — with a dash of mischief and a sip of tea.
Whenever someone hugs Nixie, their heart-shaped patch glows faintly, reminding them that kindness is stitched into the smallest things.
