This stylish bag has a gorgeous vintage-inspired shape. The lovely rich houndstooth fabric was found as a piece in my local Salvos oppy. The contrasting base was cut from a faux suede jacket donated by my brother.
The asymmetrical flap closes with a magnetic snap. The buttons showcased on the front were sourced from my Nana's button stash.
It is lined with patterned fabric that began as a placemat. There is a simple double slip pocket on the inside front wall.
Size: 33cm across the bottom and 29cm across the top. 26cm high and 7cm front to back across the bottom. The long adjustable strap (up to 130cm long) means you can wear the bag at whatever height suits you, either on the shoulder or across your body.
This bag was made using the Sedgeford Bag pattern by Charlie's Aunt Sewing Patterns designed by Emma Brennan.
