The main body of this lovely tote bag began life as a very pretty floral dress. The fabric is a creamy white with dusty denim blue flowers and bronze green leaves. There are also a few butterflies dotted about. The trim, straps and base are cut from a pair of blue jeans.
The lining is made from a damask tablecloth. You will find a zipped pocket on one of the inside panels and a slip pocket on the other. The bag closes with a magnetic snap on small denim flaps.
Size: 30cm across the bottom, widening to 42cm across the top. 10cm wide front to back. 28cm high.
The straps are about 58cm long, so it can be carried on the shoulder if desired.
The name of this design is the Tara Rose Tote, named after my partner's sister and his mother.
