Upcycled slouchy hobo bag - bright abstract summer pattern

This large soft hobo bag was created from a pretty summer wrap around skirt. It is lined with bright orange fabric that began life as a sarong.

The bag has a zip pocket on the back wall and a double slip pocket inside the front wall. It closes with a magnetic snap in a silver colour.

My hobo bags are quite big - about 35 cm x 28 cm, so they hold quite a lot.

The wide comfortable strap is long enough to wear the bag across your body, then it sits on your hip (it is 100cm). Alternatively, you could wear it on one shoulder if you prefer.

I have named this design ‘Sadie Jane’ after a school friend when I was young.
