Silk scarf eco printed with eucalyptus scribbly gum leaves
Delicate pinks and earthy tones come from the leaves and gumnuts giving distinct leaf markings
180cm x 35cm 100% silk with hand rolled hem
Lovely and soft, elegant and stylish

The eco printing process I use involves wrapping the leaves around the fabric, tying tightly and boiling for many hours. I use a piece of salvaged metal in the boil, which also gives colour and interest to the finished result. I don't use any chemical or powdered mordants in any of my products. The scarves are colourfast and can be washed by hand with a pure soap.
