I've individually handcrafted this using a real beach-found shell, sealed it with a crystal-clear resin, and painted the back gold.
Shell measures approximately 8cm across and 7cm from top to bottom. Total hanging length 16cm on a golden thread with a vintage gold bead.
This shell is currently in my studio, ready to be shipped. This is a finished piece; you will receive this exact shell as pictured.
Your shell will be wrapped in white tissue paper and presented in a branded box, nestled in shredded & recycled paper, making it suitable for gift-giving. It comes with a glossy information/care sheet.
Each shell is unique, shaped by nature and transformed in my studio into a piece of functional art.
Any small irregularities in the shape or surface are part of what makes each piece special—they are not flaws, but traces of the shell’s life in the sea and the handmade process.

P R O C E S S
I decoupaged my shells with a fine level of detail, using carefully selected decorative papers and professional materials, hand-painting highlights, and embellishments. The process is time-consuming, but it's worth it for the beautiful results.
Shells are scrubbed clean, sun-dried, and layered with paint before curing for 48 hours. The design is applied, sometimes with 24k gold leaf or hand-painted highlights, then cured again. Finally, the front is sealed with strong, crystal-clear resin, and the back is coated for protection.
The creative process renders the shell completely one of a kind and not repeatable.
Care
Please note, while sealed with a hard-wearing gloss resin, shells are still delicate by nature. They are not dishwasher safe and should not be submerged in water. To clean your shell, simply wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing.
