My "Gumleaf Series" originally came to life by accident really! I needed to take a step back from very detailed work and get a bit "loosey goosey" for a change. So out came the watercolours to just have a play around and see where it led. Well I enjoyed it thoroughly, and it got the creative juices flowing. Of course I couldn't help myself, and I ended up back on the detail again in the end! But I just love how this piece has turned out. I hope you like it too!
