This unique original painting is a one off. When we moved to our property there were many stunning old gums and after some fierce storms we had to make the decision to take some of the risky ones down to preserve our home and neighbouring properties. During this time I wanted to find ways to commemorate these beautiful trees so I collected bark and painted this piece.
It is acrylic on bark measuring 29x33cms on its longest points of each side.
Please note this piece is on raw bark, and is therefore unsealed, with a light fixative spray over the painted side.
This piece does not have string for hanging, it sits beautifully on a shelf or cabinet.
