You know how much I adore mixing textures and stories into my bags — well, this one might be my favourite yet. I made Mariner’s Garden from the dreamiest quilted teal velvet; it feels thick and padded, almost like it’s hugging you back.Up top is that stunning floral fabric from Robert Kaufman’s Mystic Moon collection — with little threads of silver that catch the light so beautifully, almost like tiny sunbeams on the ocean. Inside, there’s a leafy green lining (because of course there is!), plus two slip pockets, a zippered pocket, and even a little label that says “I’m sewing on an adventure.” It’s a tiny reminder that wherever you take this bag, it’s part of the journey with you.The crossbody strap is made from the same velvet, adjustable and removable, and the silver hardware ties it all together so nicely. It’s roomy enough for everything you need, but still feels special and personal — like something you’d keep forever.I picture this bag wandering through garden paths, perched on café tables, or tucked beside you on road trips — ready for whatever little adventures come your way.
