This one-off decorative vase has been crafted from grey, black and silver upcycled textiles embellished with multiple lacquered photographs all edged in metallic thread. It looks perfect on it's own or with a simple display of artificial or dried flowers. For fresh flowers a tall glass vase would need to be inserted.
The vase has been crafted inside and out from multiple upcycled interior textiles, with a structural base of 450gsm watercolour paper. The base has been weighted to prevent tipping. The flower photographs for the collage art have been printed on archival paper on a high quality Epson printer, then cutout, lacquered and assembled into this decorative collage. All photographs are from a personal collection. Embellished throughout with black cord, wooden reeds & silver studs on black suede.

The textiles were kindly donated by an interior designer who was clearing out her samples library. I couldn't bear the thought of these exquisite materials going to landfill, so enthusiastically repurposed them into this one of kind textile vessel.
