PDF sewing pattern and tutorial for child's personalised tote bag for kindergarten, preschool, school, library, etc.
I designed this tote bag for my son to use as his kindergarten library book bag but it could also be used for many other things such as carrying music to music lessons, toys and treasures, beach, travel, school, snacks, art supplies; it would also make a perfect gift for a child's birthday.
The bag is lined and interfaced to make it durable. It features a handy pocket on the front which can be appliqued with your child's name and a helicopter.
The pattern includes a detailed tutorial with step by step instructions and colour photographs. There are no pattern pieces; I have provided the dimensions of the fabric to be cut. You will receive applique templates for all the letters of the alphabet and a template for the helicopter.
Finished size of the bag: • 31cm wide x 36cm high (12 1/8” x 14 1/8”) • 3cm (1 1/8") gusset • Handles - 22cm (8 5/8") drop
