Where Wild Things Bloom ...The Story in the Brushstrokes.
Once upon a time, a woman decided to stop pruning her garden into straight lines and tidy rows. She let the calendula run where it wanted, let the blue lobelia spill past the edges of the path, and didn’t pull the creeping vines climbing the fence.
She thought the untidiness might annoy her. But something shifted.
She started noticing things she’d never seen when she was trying to control it all. The way the sunlight hit the tangle of red leaves and orange petals and made them glow. The joy of seeing a bee dance between the turquoise and blue blooms. The gentle rebellion of plants doing their own thing — and thriving.
Her garden reminded her of her own life — no longer so tightly managed, but so much richer. More alive.
It didn’t need fixing.
It needed noticing.
