Two small basketry vessels, woven from Raffia palm fibre dyed in shifting shades of blues. Designed for all ages , this set with a simple finger loop to hook over your finger ,with no long shoulder neck straps.
Their open, net-like structure feels both delicate and organic, inviting touch and curiosity. Created in traditional Aboriginal looping , used by my Ancestors to create fishing nets and dilly bags.
I've also added a coiled base to reduce frustration of little finds falling through.
Together, these pieces inspire hands-on play helping children connect with Country , the natural world.
