This blue scarf is made from 100% acrylic, suitable for all those people unable to wear natural fibres. Handwoven on my rigid heddle loom, I've used a chunky yarn and a thin yarn to create this weave. Alternating between the thick and thin yarn in both the warp (length) and weft (width) directions to produce this design. This scarf was inspired by the ripples formed as I sat by my pool in the Northern Rivers of NSW.
Being a chunky design, the scarf just makes you want to cuddle it and feel the softness it gives you.

All my woven items are hand washed after being made and dried flat or hung from a washing line or airer. So, the same process would be required for washing if you wish to do so.
