Description
Aubergines was inspired by the work of Christine Lethlean. In this still life I have focused on the play of light on the humble vegetable emphasising the myriad purple hues coming to life under the glow of the light from a window.
Handmade in our Ballarat studio. The process used is machine thread painting using many different coloured threads to capture the light and shade. This piece is professionally framed in blackwood.
