"Imbolc Blessings" Dream Catcher is Hand crafted with various textured yarn, twine, and a doily woven into the centre. Tiny mirror squares surround the circle giving light & reflection.
This piece was created during the Imbolc window between August 1 and August 8. Imbolc is a Celtic cross quarter celebration that marks the halfway point between Winter Solstice & Spring Equinox. The word Imbolc means "In the Belly". We can watch for signs that Spring is on its way. You may notice Wattles beginning to flower with their bright yellow blooms. You may also notice birds beginning to collect twigs for their nesting. This aligns in August for us when the winds become strong to distribute seeds far and wide for the planting and fertilising of Spring!
Blessed Be.
