This pattern is written in ENGLISH only.
Skill level required - beginner/intermediate - 16” (40cm length) CIRCULAR NEEDLES ARE USED. This is the “Laneway Loaf Slouchy Beanie Pattern”. (Knitted in the round)
Materials Needed:
One skein of Malabrigo Rios – these balls are 192m (209 yards) (100g) in length - this beanie will use 90g approx. so one skein is just right.
Size 5.00mm circular needle – 16” (40cm length) (US size 10.5; UK size 3) – knitted in the round.
Size 6.00mm circular needle – 16” (40cm length) (US size 10; UK size 4) – knitted in the round.
DPNs - Size 6.00mm (set of 4) (US size 10; UK size 4) – if needed - I find I don’t need to use the DPNs for this pattern but completely up to you. If you find DPN’s easier when decreasing, please use them.
Yarn/darning needle for seaming
Stitch marker or contrasting piece of yarn for decreasing rounds
This pattern is written in sizing for adults but instructions to reduce or enlarge are provided and very easy to follow. The yarn recommended is Malabrigo Rios and is classified as Worsted/Medium. One skein is enough to knit this project.
