Custom Home or Building Painting by Commission.
A hand-painted work of art is one of the most unique and personal gifts you can give, and one that will last a lifetime. A commissioned painting of your family home, your first house, or that special place that holds fond memories can be the perfect gift for a birthday, anniversary, graduation, or any occasion at all! Of course, it doesn't have to be a gift - why not treat yourself to a work of art that you can enjoy and admire for a lifetime! Send me a photo or two, and I'll create a unique painting for you.
N.B. If you wish to have people or animals included in your painting, or if you want special changes made to the image (e.g. changing a dull sky into a vibrant sunrise), please message me for a separate quote, as it may take more time to complete.
I'm and 'old-school' artist. Your painting will be done using real paint, on a real canvas, with real brushes and knives. (i.e. No digital imaging or printing is involved.)
How it works:
- Send me a photo (or photos) of the building or buildings you want painted. Photos in high resolution with strong contrast work best, but not essential.
- Choose what size you want your painting to be.
- Before I begin the painting process, I will create a 'mock-up' of the composition, and send it to you. Once we are agreed on a composition (i.e. roughly how the finished painting should look), I will begin the painting process.
- Your painting will usually take 7-14 days to complete. (Let me know if you have a more urgent deadline.)
- I will send you a photo of the painting as it nears completion to get your approval. At this stage, you are welcome to make any suggestion for anything you want changed or altered.
- Only when you are completely satisfied with the finished painting, is it shipped to you.
- Shipping is free Australia wide, via Australia Post, including tracking. It will ususally take anything up to 10 working days for your painting to arrive via Australia Post, depending on where you are. (Shipping costs to anywhere outside of Australia will be added to the initial price.)

Your painting will be done on a 'deep edge' (32mm side profile) artists canvas, with the sides also painted, and the hanging hardware already attached to the back, so its ready to hang on the wall the moment it arrives. If you'd prefer your painting to be done on a narrow edge (18mm side profile) canvas, or an art board, please let me know.
