Crocheted velvet whale shark
This giant of the sea has been hand made with care using velvetine yarn and polyester fill.
It was inspired by my recent trip to Exmouth WA and seeing the whale sharks in their natural environment.
It is soft and huggable and embellished with velvet dots and stripes.
The light grey and dark grey whale sharks measure 23cm in length, the navy blue whale shark is 25cm in length which is due to the different yarns used.
Safety eyes
This item has been made with “safety eyes”. These are plastic eyes that are locked onto the face with a backing plate so they cannot be removed.
However, they are not recommended for a child under 3yo who may still chew their toys, and should not be left with an unsupervised child or in a child’s cot.
Washing instructions
This item can be hand washed in warm water, pressed in a dry towel to remove water and then left to air dry.
