Hand Hammered Copper Elephant with Rhodolite Garnet set in sterling silver.
I hammered the elephant out on copper, and then backed it with another piece of copper to ensure he stays in shape! The stone is set in Sterling and Fine silver, and the bail rings are also silver.
This pieces was handcrafted by me and has been intentionally oxidised before polishing. It is important to note that copper *may* cause a harmless greening of the skin on contact. Copper will continue to oxidise which can be polished off with a polishing cloth if desired. Oxidisation levels may vary depending on your own skin biochemistry.
