Tea Time is made entirely of re-purposed and new buttons. There are four large cupcake buttons with delectable frosted icing, with just a hint of sparkle. The rest of the necklace has pastel coloured buttons in pink, blue, purple and lemon. To have a great tea party, you need a teapot, so the large yellow focal has a bright blue teapot button. This is a necklace that would be tea-riffic to wear to afternoon tea or on a girls night out!
I always design my pieces so they are comfortable and easy to wear. The wire allows just enough movement so that it moves when you do, while all the components stay in place. I have used a double strand of craft wire for strength and durability and a gold toggle clasp which is easy to manipulate. It is very light and unlike some other button necklaces, the buttons go right around your neck. All button jewelry is designed and handmade with care and is ready to ship.
