I collected this scallop shell from the beach and transformed it into a little work of art, unique as the treasures it’s made to hold. Perfect for rings, earrings, and tiny keepsakes.
Hand-painted with up to seven coats of blended paint, it creates shifting colours that change depending on the light. This stunning turquoise has hints of blue and gold that glow when the sun hits it; the back is painted rich gold.
This shell is currently in my studio, ready to be shipped. This is a finished piece; you will receive this exact shell as pictured.
Measures 9.3 cm across and 8.5 cm in length, comes with a metal ring to help it sit in place and not rock around.
Each shell is unique, shaped by nature and transformed in my studio into a piece of functional art.
Any small irregularities in the shape or surface are part of what makes each piece special—they are not flaws, but traces of the shell’s life in the sea and the handmade process.

P R O C E S S
I craft these shells using professional materials.
Shells are scrubbed clean, sun-dried, and layered with paint, curing between coats. Once fully cured, the front is sealed with strong, crystal-clear resin, and the back is coated for protection.
A time-consuming process, but worth the beautiful results.
This creative process renders each shell one of a kind.

Your shell will arrive suitable for gift giving, nestled in shredded & recycled paper, wrapped in white tissue paper, and presented in a branded box. It comes with a glossy information/care sheet.
Care
Please note, while sealed with a hard-wearing gloss resin, shells are still delicate by nature. They are not dishwasher safe and should not be submerged in water. To clean your shell, simply wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scrubbing.
