About the Red Tailed Black Cockatoo:
These majestic cockatoos are a bit of a fan favourite. They hang out in large flocks collectively called a "Crackle" and feed on eucalyptus seeds, casuarinas and banksias. Seeing one of these up-close is a total treat and is what inspired me to design these and the earrings in our collection. They can be seen throughout most of mainland Australia.
These giant birds with their velvety black colouring with rich red accents are a sight to see flying in formation in search of trees to feed.
