Major Mitchell Cockatoo - Edition of 20

Linoprint and hand-painted individually with watercolours. Major Mitchell's cockatoo (Lophochroa leadbeateri), also known as Leadbeater's cockatoo or the pink cockatoo, is a medium-sized cockatoo that inhabits arid and semi-arid inland areas of Australia, though it is seen regularly in other climates, for example, South-East Queensland's subtropical region.

I have created the print by hand-carving a piece of lino, rolling ink onto the linocut and hand-printing the print onto the watercolour paper. I have then painted the linoprint with lightfast watercolours.

Ink: Caligo Safe Wash - Oil-based and lightfast pigment
Watercolour: Dr PH Martins - Hydrus watercolours
Paper: 300gsm Watercolour Paper - Acid free
Paper size: Height 29.7 mm x Width 21mm

Your hand-signed, hand-painted edition print will be one of only "20" printed, each one slightly different which makes it unique.The print is sold unmounted and unframed. The image can be framed as is within a window mount.
