The soft raw umber background tones and dark lettering contrast with a playful colour-pop splash of flouro orange. Bright tangerine brushstrokes continue on the accompanying hand crafted bookmark.
Made in the Mackay region of the Queensland tropics, this is my latest adventure in hand made artist books. I love exploring ways to blur the lines between 2D imagery and 3D structure. Experimental book formats provide an inspiring range of possibilities, which I will continue to investigate.
