This book is bound using traditional Coptic stitch, a method that creates an elegant exposed spine while allowing the journal to open completely flat. This makes it a pleasure to use—whether you are painting, writing, sketching, or exploring mixed media techniques. The stitching is done by hand with strong waxed linen thread in a harmonious deep blue, complementing the cover artwork and adding to the journal’s timeless, earthy aesthetic.
Inside, you’ll find 72 leaves (144 pages) of premium 300gsm Aquarelle watercolour paper—an artist-quality surface designed to hold watercolour, acrylics, inks, pastels, charcoal, pencil, or any combination you feel called to explore. Each Weaver’s Knot journal is created slowly and mindfully from new and/or upcycled materials. Some feature hand-painted covers, others include prints of my own artworks on archival stock. Every book is stitched, folded, and assembled by hand, resulting in natural variations that honour the authenticity of the craft. No two journals are ever the same.
