To create this beach-inspired Christmas wreath. I’ve wrapped the base in rustic hessian ribbon, sewn and wire-wrapped faux greenery, and berries arranged to create an underwater feel, accented with shells I’ve collected from the beach.
I handmade and hand-painted the resin mermaid, seahorse, and starfish to add a whimsical, storybook charm. I never use real seahorses or starfish, I prefer to recreate them in resin rather than see them harvested.
The creative process renders this wreath completely one of a kind and not repeatable.

Although mostly hand-stitched or attached with wire, the backing and a few leaves are secured with hot glue.
