Very fine wool and silk scarf is soft and luxurious.
Hand printed with eucalyptus leaves.
Stunning leaf and gumnut definition and pattern together with the fabulous "tie lines" on the end.
Fabulous vibrant bold pink/red shades.
The scarf is 85% wool and 15% silk and is very light and beautiful.
180cm x 35cm.
Lovely fine tassels on each end.
Washable and colourfast.
The ecoprinting process I use involves wrapping the leaves around the fabric, tying tightly and boiling for four hours. I use a piece of salvaged iron in the boil, which also gives colour and interest to the finished result. No chemical or powdered mordants are used in any of my products. The scarves are colourfast and can be washed by hand with a pure soap and ironed gently on the wool setting.
