• 100% pure merino wool shawl wrap, soft fine high quality merino wool.
• Hand ecoprinted with eucalyptus leaves silver dollar, gumnuts and stems, capturing nature beautifully.
• The finished colours given by the leaves are tones of orange and pale red with softer shades over the scarf.
• NOTE... this is sold at a reduced price from $85.00 as there is a small blue thread woven in the tassel which has left a tiny blue mark on the end. Hence the discounted price. Otherwise perfect!

• The ecoprinting process I use involves wrapping the leaves around the fabric, tying tightly and boiling for four hours. I use a piece of salvaged iron in the boil, which also gives colour and interest to the finished result. No chemical or powdered mordants are used in any of my products. The scarves are colourfast and can be washed by hand with a pure soap and ironed gently on the wool setting.
