I originally designed and hand built this large platter to be a wedding present however it would grace any home as a unique piece of practical artwork.

34cm square and 7cm tall

The masculine is represented by the square shape and the feminine is represented by the lace circle. Neither are completely encapsulated by the other but the overlap reflects the bond they have made. The crotcheting was done by my own Grandmother (Nanna).

I call it the Adam and Eve plate.
