These dainty earrings are made from real flowers, pressed and preserved in resin by me. The flowers are from the beautiful Gypsophila plant, more commonly known as Baby's Breath. Normally white in colour they have been dyed to give this gorgeous magenta colour. And they all contain tiny gold flakes to add a little extra sparkle.
The earrings are very thin and extremely light to wear. The rectangles hang 4cm from the earhole and the teardrop is slightly smaller, at 3.5cm. The elegant gold or silver plated hooks are nickel-free, so perfect for those with sensitive ears.
Gypsophila meaning and symbolism tend to be associated mainly with the flower’s delicate, lacy appearance and elegant colors. It’s associated with weddings and baby showers because it symbolizes innocence, purity, love, and admiration. It also symbolizes femininity and elegance.
