Sustainable Artisan Jewellery
Stand out in these fun colourful hoop earrings!
Handmade using upcycled fabric pieces, hand-corded and wound around handmade hoops, crafted from upcycled industrial waste wire. The fabric is hand-sewn into place on the hoops. Upcycled food cans are cleaned, hammered, hand-cut and filed into dangles that hang inside the colourful hoops. All findings are handmade with sterling silver wire.
What makes the hooks special?
I design my earring hooks specifically to reduce the chance of them slipping out of ears and becoming a lost earring. This also eliminates the need to use rubber/silicone stoppers in an effort to become as eco-friendly as possible!

It is not mass-produced - only a small or limited number will be created.
No two pieces will be exactly the same - each piece will be unique!
Measurements:
Hoop - Approximately 6cm diameter. 16ga wire.
Square dangle - 3cm x 3 cm.
Hooks - 20ga wire.
Materials:
Lightweight materials.
Hooks - Sterling Silver (925), sustainably and ethically sourced and reclaimed materials.
Hoops - Stainless Steel wire sourced from industrial waste, covered with hand-corded upcycled fabric remnants/scraps.
Dangle - Upcycled tin food can.
Sustainability:
Sterling silver is considered a sustainable material due to being infinitely recyclable. The silver I use is ethically and responsibly sourced and contains recycled silver.
I choose recycled and recyclable materials for all of my jewellery making and packaging whenever possible.
Local/Australian, eco-friendly, sustainable, and cruelty-free suppliers are my preferred choice whenever possible.
All waste produced is either kept for re-use, recycled, or disposed of responsibly.
The use of plastics is avoided as much as possible (except when re-using for upcycled pieces).
