Upcycled Drink Can Earrings
A cute and colourful addition to your earring collection, these handmade Hibiscus Earrings are created from upcycled drink cans! They have a handmade sterling silver circular hook, repurposed beads, and a cute leaf detail on the back for added interest.
Upcycled drink cans are cut by hand and carefully filed to ensure there are no sharp edges. The embossed flower and leaf details are hand-drawn on each piece. These earrings are super lightweight, making them comfortable and easy to wear.
Designed and handmade in Christies Beach, South Australia with consideration for the environment, a commitment to reducing waste, and as a reminder of the importance of sustainability in everyday life.

What makes the hooks special?
I design my earring hooks specifically to reduce the chance of them slipping out of ears and becoming a lost earring. This also eliminates the need to use rubber/silicone stoppers in an effort to become as eco-friendly as possible!
Uniqueness:
The handmade nature of this jewellery means...
It is not mass-produced. It is slow-made in my home studio, by me - only a small or limited number will be created.
No two pieces will be exactly the same and might have slight differences to the pictured items - each piece will be unique!
Sustainability:
Sterling silver is considered a sustainable material due to being infinitely recyclable. The silver I use is ethically and responsibly sourced and contains recycled silver.
I choose recycled and recyclable materials for all of my jewellery making and packaging whenever possible.
Local/Australian, eco-friendly, sustainable, and cruelty-free suppliers are my preferred choice whenever possible.
All waste produced is either kept for re-use, recycled, or disposed of responsibly.
The use of plastics is avoided as much as possible (except when re-using for upcycled pieces).
