The phrase la dolce vita is painted by hand at the centre - a subtle narrative woven into the surface rather than placed upon it. Designed for serving and sharing, the piece favours simplicity over excess, allowing food, conversation and time to take focus.
Finished in a soft gloss glaze, the surface reflects light quietly, revealing the character of the hand behind the work. Each platter is made slowly in small batches in my Sunshine Coast studio. No two are exactly alike.
