Description

This is an enlarged version of a traditional pouch, used in Japan to carry rice offerings to the temple or to hold gifts. Only one dye is used, warm black, which is made up of many different colours. It is my favorite dye to work with because of the gorgeous subtle patterns it produces. It combines beautifully with solid colours, in this case a warm yellow. 2 Drawstring cords pull in all 4 sides at the same time, resulting in the typical box shape. With its wide opening it lends itself well for holding sewing/knitting/crochet projects, toiletries or even your lunch or other food items. The whole bag is padded and lined. Extra detail is added with my hand made rainbow and heart label and Japanese style string knot covers.

Dimensions: 20cm wide, 20cm deep, 24 cm high

Care: Cotton outer, polyester padding. Spot clean only, hot iron.
