This is an original hand-painted artwork using watercolours on 300gsm watercolour card. This piece began as an exploration of the wet on wet watercolour technique, exploring the interplay between rich blue and ochre pigments.

Once dry, I outlined the most visible defining lines between tonal values. The end result feels like a blending of topographic, geographic and synoptic elements.
