Ecoprinting is a way of transferring the colour and outline of leaves onto fabric. This is a natural process- the fabric is prepared in natural minerals to ensure the end print is colorfast. Botanical materials-plants, leaves, flowers are arranged on the fabric, rolled up into a bundle then steamed or boiled. During the heating process the pigments or the plant are transferred to the fabric.

Due to the endless naturally occurring variables - the species, season, age, location and the health of each plant - every ecoprint is different and impossible to replicate, mirroring natures quiet design and diversity.
