Our Story
After attending a preserving workshop and finding out that you could make 100% cotton crochet dish cloths that were compostable, I was inspired!
Reusable, compostable and I could learn how to finally be crafty with yarn? This is what motivated me to start crocheting. I was determined to save the planet, 1 dish cloth at a time!
After studying Crochet Youtube video's and getting the hang of it, I set a new challenge to now master reading a written pattern. What pattern would it be? It would have to be pretty special, for me to keep my motivations high through this next challenge.
Then I found it! The beautiful, strong, rustic Woodland Basket. I had never seen anything like it before.
- I could use 100% Recycled T-Shirt Yarn (that could be repurposed)
- I could use fallen branches as handles, from my own property here in Stroud NSW (that could be composted)
And eventually, after lots of attempts and improving my crochet knowledge, my friend said to me "I have not seen anyone sell these at the markets!" Hmmmmmmm and my business was born. So then I thought;
- I could use Uncoated Wooden Beads for branding (that could be composted)
- I could use Cotton String and Kraft Paper for my merchandising (that could be composted)
Fibre Art that is Functional!
Since then I have expanded into Recycled T-Shirt Rag Rugs, explored colour through multiple sizes of the Woodland Basket, and of course still going strong with the Wash Cloth / Dish Cloths. I will keep crocheting, with this blessing of a skill from God, until I can crochet no more.

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items will not be refunded.

Once Returned Item is received, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Please note for Replacement: Due to the recycled nature of the product and stock availability, the exact colour replacement may not be available at the time of request. Each delivery of stock to Made With Precious Time, has shade variations between batches. In this instance, IF a replacement is warranted, Made With Precious Time will ensure sizing is as close to original order as possible and a colour, at time of replacement, will be confirmed with the customers approval in writing.
All items are checked extensively, before transit, for quality control. If you find your items have been damaged/lost in transit, please refer to Australia post for further information Australia Post Reference Page.
LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Return Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
