At her Fluid Garden Studio, Heather plays with acrylic paints using several methods, including the Sheleeart bloom method. Each piece is different - even if the same paints are used, the method always creates something new.
Heather creates functional items like coasters, placemats and jewellery, and artworks just to be admired.

Delivery can be organised in person in Melbourne, if times and dates suit.

Ready to ship in It takes 6 weeks to prepare new works - 3 weeks to paint and cure, and another 3 weeks to resin and for resin to cure. (business days)

Caring for your Fluid Garden Artworks
All my pieces are handmade, so you can expect some imperfections, or as I like to say, special effects!
Each piece is coated in heat resistant resin, which creates the lovely shine. They can have hot cups or dishes placed on them, but not direct from the oven. The stone coat resin I use is designed to temporarily handle temperatures up to 450C or 220C, but it is best not to put anything that hot on it for any length of time – but your tea, coffee or serving dish will be fine!
The heat-resistant resin requires up to three weeks to be fully cured. Please note the date your piece has been resined, and don't place hot items on your artwork until the resin is fully cured.
