Deep Blue Creative is a home studio based on the Tweed Coast of Northern New South Wales where Elissa Lees brings her many ideas to life with the help of her husband and studio dogs.
Elissa’s work is driven by her passion for surface pattern design and traditional and folk art from around the world. She is also inspired the beauty of her local subtropical coastal environment and her large home garden which results in a wide variety of texture, pattern and colour themes expressed in her work.
Pieces are all hand painted and are made using a variety of techniques including slip casting and hand building, with a focus on beauty, tactility and functionality so they can be enjoyed every day and for years to come.

Items are carefully and securely packaged, and we use recycled, reused and sustainable packaging as much as possible. Please reuse or recycle all packaging where possible.
If you require postal insurance or post to be signed for please let us know so that we can adjust the price accordingly.
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 48hrs of delivery via email to info@deepbluecreative.com.au. Please provide photographs of the item, packaging and shipping label. A refund or replacement (if available) will be provided.
Refund & Exchange policy
Each handmade ceramic piece will have its own unique qualities and we want you to be happy with your purchase but if you would like to return an item, please contact us directly within 48-hours of delivery and we will assess the circumstances for a possible solution. We do not offer refund or exchange due to a change of mind so please choose carefully.
In the instance an item is returned, the item must be in its original condition, unused and with no damage. The purchaser will be responsible for all return shipping costs and any damage incurred during the return of the item.
