It is our mission to elevate, energise and activate the value of handmade.

We are achieving this by curating a marketplace that exclusively showcases the best of Australian handmade artisans. Handmade signifies more than just 'not mass-produced.' Here, it embodies stories, heritage, and a quality personal touch that's evident in every piece. It’s a community where artists uplift one another, devoid of competition, because even within the same field, each artist brings their own unique perspective.

Hi Larissa,
Many of our makers only do custom requests for made-to-order creations. They then specify the Made to Order time frame for their creations, so customers can easily see these before purchasing. Customers can easily request color/size or style preferences with ease. We hope this helps you, and please feel free to contact us with any other queries. We always welcome new makers on MadeIt.

Hello,
I would like to know if I can list made-to-order products with options for color and size customization, or do they need to be ready to ship?
Thank you!

Good Morning Madeit Team, many thanks for acknowledging my interest in reopening my Madeit Store. Unfortunately, health and family commitments impacted on my not making the transition to your new format. I have read through all your articles and am so impressed by the way Madeit has evolved in my absence, into a professional outlet, that is totally supportive of Australian artists, craftspeople and our quality products. I continue to use my own designs to create a range of unique hand-crocheted pieces. In terms of the materials I use, I try to source only quality, natural fibres and yarns, particularly hand processed, hand dyed yarns produced by artisans in my local community. I am passionate about producing quality, unique pieces and welcome the opportunity to showcase my work again via the Madeit.com network. Many thanks for placing me on your wait list. I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards Barbara Mottershaw Bar-Bar-A-Black Sheep Uniquely Crochet.
