This is a gorgeous example of a happy combination of hand dyed fabric with up-cycled denim from a pre-loved pair of jeans.
The colours just shine against the rugged sturdy denim.
I have stenciled motifs on the front panel and accentuated them with hand stitching. There is a leather label and a leather zipper pull with a wooden bead.
The blue/grey lining is also hand dyed and all fabrics used are cotton, including the wadding.
This size zipper pouch is great for sewing supplies, pens and pencils, makeup, medical supplies, hair accessories, jewellery, etc. Because it is a flat design it fits well in handbags.

I use fiber reactive dyes, which are colourfast but prolonged exposure to sunlight may cause some fading.
