This vest is designed to be worn over a sweater and so has generous ease.
We recommend that you do not choose the size by age but rather measure your child and use the corresponding size in the chart
If you are wishing to wear it over a T shirt, light weight top or as a classic closer fitting vest you may choose a size smaller.
