This handmade, wheel-thrown vase is crafted from a blend of terracotta and white clay to create a natural marbled effect with earthy tones and subtle texture. The surface is left unglazed to preserve the raw, tactile feel of the clay, while being fully sealed inside and out with Liquid Quartz – a food-safe, invisible sealant from Made of Australia.
Although terracotta is a naturally porous, low-fired clay, the application of Liquid Quartz provides water resistance, allowing the vase to safely hold water for fresh flowers or be displayed outdoors.
