A small pieced wall hanging featuring texiles hand-dyed with plant dyes, handstitching and appliqued fabric flowers.
Perfect to adorn a small space that needs a pop of colour and texture or display in a larger space alongside other pieces.
Plant dyes/prints include loquat leaf, onion skin, pecan hulls and eucalyptus leaves.

Four raw edge tabs handstitched on the back and a small bamboo stick provide an easy way to hang this small artwork.
Botanically printed fabric was pretreated with mineral salts and iron, layered with real eucalyptus leaves, rolled up and steamed/buried in earth to release the natural dyes and details of the leaves)
Please display out of direct sunlight as regular/constant exposure to this will result in fading.
