A beautiful stained glass Kingfisher, created using a combination of white, orange, teal and teal iridised stained glass.
He is sitting on wire which has been hand curved to represent a ‘branch’. The little flower and leaves are made using a complimentary green, vintage glass and wire. The wires have then been mounted into pre drilled holes in the timber base.
I have hand painted some white details on the neck of the bird using enamel paint.
The block measures 10.5cm x 21.5cm.
The overall height is 34cm from the table to the tip of his beak.
This piece will be flat packed to be shipped and will need to be gently reassembled once received, which consists of gently pushing the wires back into the pre drilled holes on the timber block.
Local pick up is available by prior arrangement.
