Stained Glass Kingfisher on Australian Timber Block (1)

This stunning Kingfisher was hand cut from two shades of teal glass, one transparent and one opaque. His beak cut from dark brown stained glass and his face has a touch of orange glass.

He is sitting on top of a curved wire branch with some small leaves.

I have hand painted his tummy and feather detail using enamel paint and there are some wire details on his beak and tail feather.

He measures approximately 26cm tall.

He will be flat packed to be shipped, but to reassemble him is very easy. The wires fit snuggly into pre drilled holes in the timber block.

Pick up is available by prior arrangement from my studio.
