Description
Hand built ceramic condiment dish, created in the Kurinuki (carving out) method.
After carving and rubbing pindan soil (collected in the north west of Western Australia) into the exterior to give a fine texture, these unique little clay dishes have had their first firing before applying a translucent pale green, chun style glaze and firing again to stoneware temperature.
Because of their natural, hand built nature, each dish is unique, varying slightly in size and glaze appearance.
Perfect size small dish to hold, spices, jam, salt and pepper, dukkha. Use as a ring or trinket dish.
Four of these dishes are available now. Please note that each one is slightly different to the other with a few having a faint dot decoration near the rim.
